In the Book of Ezekiel we read:
את-האבדת אבקש, ואת-הנדחת אשיב, ולנשברת אחבש, ואת-החולה אחזק;
“I will seek that which was lost, and will bring back that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick” (Eze 34:16; see also: Deu 22:1; 2 Sam 14:13; Jer 40:12; 43:5; Eze 34:4).

Yet the Psalmist wrote: אלהים מושיב יחידים ביתה - “God makes the solitary to dwell in a house” (Ps 68:7).

It seems that the Greek (and English) translators were not aware of the similarity between these verses, and that resulted in an odd interpretation. Yet the comparison between these verses suggests that
מושיב יחידים (moshiv yekhidim) is a letter-substitution and order-type error of
משיב נדחים (meshiv nidakhim) - “brings back those that were driven away.”
