נקבה תסובב גבר

In the Book of Canticles we read:

אקומה נא ואסובבה בעיר, בשוקים וברחבות-אבקשה את שאהבה נפשי;

“I will rise now, and go about the city, in the streets and in the broad ways, I will seek him whom my soul loves” (Can 3:2).

Yet we find in the Book of Jeremiah:

עד-מתי תתחמקין הבת השובבה: כי-ברא יהוה חדשה בארץ, נקבה תסובב גבר.

“How long will you turn away coyly, O you backsliding daughter? For YHWH had created a new thing in the earth: a woman shall court a man” (Jer 31:21).

However, the comparison between these verses suggests that here השובבה (hashovevah) is a sibilant-letter exchange error of הסובבה (hasovevah) - “the one that goes about.”

It should be noted, that if there were doubts if these verses share at least the literary style, then it should be pointed out that the only other biblical word from the root חמק (khmq) is in the Book of Canticles (Can 5:6).
